The most special first few weeks at home with a new baby. There’s truly nothing better.

The days are slow (and sleepy, let’s be honest). You can’t get enough coffee in your system. And somehow all the newness feels deeply familiar all at the same time, like this was the way it always was.

This is exactly why I love photographing families at home.

The nursery that took months to prepare. The favorite swaddle draped over the rocking chair. Tiny stretches after a nap. Older siblings peeking into the bassinet. These are the details that quietly become part of your family’s story.

As an Atlanta newborn photographer, I spend my mornings documenting these ordinary moments—the ones that are easy to overlook now, but impossible to replace years from now.

This sweet in-home newborn session took place just outside of Atlanta and is full of everything I love most: soft morning light, unhurried moments, and a family settling into life together with their newest little one.
